TAK Internet Marketing Secrets

Before I go too far I should tell you who I am, my name is Kristin Vaillancourt and with me in the picture to the left is my husband Tom and my two year old son Alex.  I will be managing the majority of this blog while my husband manages our website TAK Publishing.  I hope you find lots of great Internet Marketing information here.  You are most likely saying ummm…there is no information on here.  Well, you’re right there isn’t much here yet but in the next few weeks I will be adding  a lot more information.  If you look to the right hand side of the screen you will see my most recent posts and also all posts are organized by there respective category.  You might have have noticed our blog is not as fancy as other blogs out there.  Well there is a reason for that and actually it is an internet marketing secret that isn’t widely shared.  Just because your blog is flashy with lots of graphics doesn’t mean you will get higher search rankings.  The search engine spiders that crawl sites and figure out search rankings can’t see the graphics and java script.  They can only read the content or words on the site itself.  So a simple blog like this without a lot of fancy graphics and a lot of content will rank higher than a similar blog with less content and more graphics.  Personally I like the simpler blogs.  I can’t stand blogs that are cluttered and give you no idea where to begin.

I also wanted to touch on the fact that a new trend lately is to build websites around wordpress blogs.  While this is not a horrible way to have a website you are bound by the themes you use.  Some people feel that wordpress websites make sites look more modern.  You might have thought, if you came from TAKPublishing.com to here, that our blog is better or more stylish than our website.  That may be true but I would never do our website around a wordpress site because we can’t put as many personal touches here as we can on our website.

Actually the information I just gave you is what TAK Internet Marketing Secrets is all about.  A lot of Internet Marketers won’t just give that information away without wanting to be paid for it.  They make a blog and share a few things but mostly they want to collect your information from the opt-in box they put up so that they have your information and can sell products to you.  That’s why the logo of our blog is “Bringing Family Values back to Internet Marketing”.  I want to bring the values I teach my son back into Internet Marketing and most important to me is honesty.  You will not see an opt-in box or a bunch of sales pitches in my blog posts. I may announce a new book of ours but I will not try and persuade you to buy it, I see to many blogs like that.

Here is my 100% honesty.  You have to know that I am not going to reveal everything for free in this blog.  My husband and I put a a lot of time and effort into writing our step by step home business guide Internet Marketing Marketing Anyone Can Learn and I am still a business woman.  I am not going to pretend that I don’t want to sell our book.  However if you don’t go to TAK Publishing and buy that’s ok.  You will still have access to the tips and secrets I am going to share with you here.
